Production process of Grand Kafa brands basically consists of the selection and acquisition of the best varieties of coffee whereby the production process within Grand Kafa is constantly monitored and the testing of all components required for Grand Kafa end product to satisfy quality standards is performed.
Prior to each acquisition, a cup testing takes place at Grand Kafa, for each coffee yield, although originating from the same plantation, may vary in quality. Initial coffee testing includes analysing and evaluating the quality of unroasted coffee samples arriving to Grand Kafa in small packages from different plantations. Prior to the import, the coffee samples from Brazil, Africa or India are tested daily in our labs by applying the cup test method. In order to maintain recognizable quality, taste, flavour and aroma of our products, cup testing is performed on a daily basis to evaluate each Grand Kafa blend. The high technology and very sophisticated monitoring techniques ensure high standards in maintaining the purity of the coffee as well as preservation of finest physical and chemical qualities and end flavour of the coffee.
Quality control starts with selection of green coffee beans and extends to the whole duration of coffee production process.
