From ancient times coffee was enriched with various ingredients, it was mixed with different spices and food. In the Orient, coffee was combined with sugar and cinnamon and in the Occident with milk, figs and almonds. However, during the 20th century the number of ingredients added to coffee significantly increased – chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, whipped cream, milk, egg, ice cream, sweet cream, fruit and various alcohol drinks.
In Italy, they serve Caffe Coretto with Amaretto almond liqueur, in Ireland – Irish coffee with Irish whiskey, in France – Café Marnier with Grand Marnier liqueur, in Mexico – Café Mexicano with tequila and Kahlua, in Jamaica – Jamaican Coffee with rum and Tia Maria, and on the menus you can find German coffee with cherry brandy, Russian coffee with vodka… Viennese coffee, mocha, ice coffee, cappuccino and various instant coffee drinks are only some of numerous well-known coffee beverages.
Numerous beverages can be made with coffee and here are some suggestions how to prepare them:
a cup of chilled Grand Aroma coffee
1/4 cup of crushed ice
1 tablespoon of honey
Pour a cup of filtered and chilled coffee in a shaker, add crushed ice and honey. Shake well and serve immediately.
2 cups of Grand Espresso coffee
2 tablespoons of Irish cream liqueur
milk foam
Pour the espresso coffee and the Irish syrup in a cup. Add thick milk foam and sprinkle with bitter cocoa powder.
8 teaspoons of Grand Kafa
8 teaspoons of ground hazelnuts
8 drops of vanilla extract
8 drops of hazelnut extract
8 teaspoons of sugar
grated plain chocolate
4 tablespoons of whipped cream
Boil hot water with coffee and ground hazelnuts, strain the coffee through the filter or a thick gauze, add vanilla and hazelnut extracts, sweeten with sugar and pour into 4 glasses. Add a tablespoon of whipped cream in each glass and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

2 teaspoons of white rum
whipped cream
Pour hot and previously strained coffee in a glass and add white rum. Finally, add two tablespoons of whipped cream.
1/2 cup of Grand Kafa
1/4 cup of sweetened frozen milk
1 teaspoon of bitter cocoa powder
2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
Add strained hot coffee, ice cream and cocoa powder in a cup with frozen milk.
8 teaspoon of Grand Kafa
2 shot glasses of dark rum
60 grams of grated plain chocolate
4 sugar cubes
Divide chocolate and sugar cubes in 4 larger cups (or 4 glasses). Prepare strong black coffee and pour hot into the cups. Add 1/4 of rum to each cup and serve.
1 coconut
2 cups of milk
4 cups of strong black coffee
1 tablespoon of sugar
Make holes in the coconut shell and empty the juice in a bowl. Roast the coconut for 30 minutes in a 180° oven, then break it open, peel the flesh off and mix it with juice and milk. Cook the mixture on a moderate fire until it becomes creamy and then strain it. Add coffee and sugar and pour into cups. Garnish with remaining coconut bits.
1 cup of Grand Kafa
1 egg-white
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of whipped cream
Whip the egg-white until it gets foamy. Gradually add vanilla and stir. Pour into two cups and pour coffee over it. Top with whipped cream.
1 orange
1 lemon
3 cups of coffee
1/2 cups of sweet cream
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoons of ground cloves
1/4 teaspoons of ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoons of cinnamon
Peel an orange and a lemon and put 1/6 of both into each cup. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar and spices. Mix coffee and sweet cream separately. Join the two mixtures and pour into cups.
30 ml Irish whiskey (Bush Malt)
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of whipped cream
2 dl strong coffee
Variant 1:
Warm the cup before pouring the drink. Stir whiskey, sugar and coffee until the sugar dissolves. Put the cream on top and drink coffee through the cream without stirring.
Variant 2:
Roast brown sugar in a coffee pot, add whiskey and burn it for the alcohol to evaporate. Pour down the brewed coffee over it and add cream.

1/2 cups of melted chocolate
an orange slice
1 teaspoon of whipped cream
a pinch of cinnamon
Put a slice of orange in a cup and pour the mixture of coffee and hot chocolate over it. Put the whipped cream on top and garnish with cinnamon.

2 dl of strong coffee
4 teaspoons of sweet cream
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of whipped cream
a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa
Melt the chocolate and add sweet cream and sugar. Gradually pour the coffee and stir on a moderate fire. Pour the coffee into a cup and top with whipped cream. Garnish with cinnamon or cocoa powder. Serve in tall glasses.
